What is the meaning of waterproof?

fittydent Denture Adhesive and fittydent Denture Adhesive Cushions consists of two main components: Polyvinylacetate (PVA) and Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). Polyvinylacetate is the adhesive. It works only on a dry surface to create the bonding effect (like chewing gum). To keep the mucosa dry, we use Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) which works like a “sponge” to absorb moisture in the mouth. When the “sponge” is saturated with moisture, the mucosa becomes wet, Polyvinylacetate loses bonding effect and the denture stays in place only by suction. Now you can easily remove the dentures.

Can I use the Cushions on uppers too?

We do not recommend. Due to the bigger surface, it can be that the dentures stays for 2 days or more. If food trappings get underneath, it can cause inflammations.

No. After the cleansing is done you can store it in a Denture Box.

We did a survey with a smaller opening but due to the consistence of the Adhesive for elderly customers it was not easy to squezze the Adhesive out. But if you can not figure out how to apply the Adhesive properly you can use a wet finger to spread it on the surface.
