fittydent Denture Adhesive is worldwide the only waterproof Denture Adhesive.
fittydent must be applied on a clean and completely dry denture. It has higher viscosity than conventional adhesives due to its unique composition, thus less is more. Less Adhesive – more Bonding.
No. In the perfect case the dentures stays on the gum like suction. When the shape of the gum changes or the patient don’t wear the dentures regularly the perfect fit can get lost. Then to fill in the gap between gum and dentures the patient needs support.
Waterproof doesn’t mean that your denture will stay stuck permanently.
It simply means that the adhesive doesn’t dissolve easily in saliva. This allows it to stay effective for many hours instead of washing away quickly.
Our Fittydent Adhesive products consist of two main components: Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) and Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). Polyvinyl Acetate is the adhesive component. It works on a dry surface to create a strong bonding effect, similar to the way chewing gum sticks to a surface. Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), on the other hand, helps manage moisture in the mouth. It works like a “sponge,” absorbing moisture and helping to keep the contact area between the denture and mucosa dry for as long as possible.
Over time, the CMC absorbs moisture until it becomes saturated. As this happens, the adhesive effect gradually decreases, making it easy to remove the denture.
You can still remove and clean your denture as usual.
Normally, there is no need to remove the denture earlier, as long as no food particles get trapped underneath. However, in specific cases – like accidents, x-ray…the denture can be removed by little force. Pull on the back up or down. It will be painless and will cause no negative effects, but residues of the adhesive might be left on the gum.
fittydent Cleansing Tablets with pH 9 are recommended.
Because of the ingredients that make it waterproof, the consistency is slightly thicker. Gently spread it out with a damp finger for a smoother application.
We do not recommend. Due to the bigger surface, it can be that the dentures stays for 2 days or more. If food trappings get underneath, it can cause inflammations.

Yes, as long as there is enough surface area for the adhesive to bond to.
We use a small amount of alcohol in our adhesive products to help keep them smooth and easy to spread.
The alcohol evaporates completely after a short time, leaving behind the water-insoluble adhesive layer. Wait a few seconds before inserting your denture to allow the alcohol to evaporate.
The alcohol evaporates after a short time, but whether or not to use the product is ultimately up to the user.
Impossible. The amount of Alcohol used in one Adhesive application is way too less to be detected it in the blood.
This can happen if the adhesive has not been stored properly, especially if it has been exposed to excessive heat. The ingredients can separate, a process known as syneresis. If this happens, please get in touch with us so we can help.
Have you tried the “less is more” approach?
With Fittydent, you only need a small amount of adhesive. Try spreading it evenly with a damp finger.
Are you using the adhesive for an upper or lower denture? For lower dentures, we recommend our Adhesive Cushions, which come in the form of double-sided adhesive tape. And are you using Fittydent for the first time? With our adhesive, less is more — unlike some competitors, where more adhesive may be needed.

There are several reasons why the adhesive may not last as long as it used to. One of the most common is increased saliva production.

Fresh adhesive residue is easier to remove than dried residue, so we recommend cleaning your denture as soon as possible after removal.
If the residue has already hardened:
First-time cleaning: Soak the denture in a solution with fittydent Cleansing Tablets for about three hours, then remove the loosened residue with a denture brush.
Regular cleaning: After the initial deep clean, use fittydent Cleansing Tablets as directed.
Our adhesive gradually dissolves in the mouth. However, some residue may remain on the denture and gums, depending on how long the adhesive has been in place.
To remove residue from your gums, we recommend gently wiping it away with a cotton towel and a little cooking oil.
For residue on your denture, use fittydent Cleansing Tablets as directed.
We recommend using fittydent Cleansing tablets as directed.
Milky-white residue on your denture is usually dried adhesive.
It is easiest to remove when you clean your denture immediately after taking it out.
If the residue has already dried, soaking the denture over night with fittydent Cleansing Tablets can usually help loosen it again.
If the bonding effect has not lessened at the end of the day, simply leave dentures in the mouth overnight and brush them with a toothbrush like your own teeth. Apply less adhesive next day.
Yes, but in this case, you may need to use a little more fittydent Denture Adhesive. If the lower denture still doesn’t stay securely in place throughout the day, we recommend using fittydent Denture Adhesive Cushions instead.

The Cushions are like a double-sided tape. Between the upper and the lower foil is the Adhesive layered on a cotton mesh. After peeling off the foil, the Adhesive works immediately.
Those denture wearers who have flat and/or narrow lower jaw need to use fittydent Denture Adhesive Cushions instead of fittydent Denture Adhesive Cream.
The Cushions guarantee a secure hold, even in these difficult cases. The Cushions are waterproof, therefore they are also effective for patients with excessive saliva.

No. After the cleansing is done you can store it in a Denture Box.

Please try to warm it in your hands. The adhesive becomes warm and is easier to apply.

If the lower jaw is really extreme flat and narrow – the saliva gets underneath the denture.
